Galette Breakfast is coming
We are pleased to announce that the ACDC Board will be changing on Thursday, 16/01/2025, during the ACDC AGM and we’ve planned a galette de rois and voting session in order to involve everyone. While only registered members can vote, the event is open to all and there will be Galette & Coffee for everyone! —your input on the future direction of ACDC is highly valued regardless whether you choose to be a member or not. For those who want to become members then please visit the ACDC website (https://acdc.ec-nantes.fr/join-acdc-as-a-member) or you can join ACDC on the day of the election/galette de rois **.
To ease the workload on the board, we are looking to fill several positions. As the saying goes, many hands make light work! If you’re interested in joining or just want to learn more about the roles and the election agenda, please refer to the election folder for details (https://docs.google.com/document/d/133T5F0AaDhv-6VUmSmUPX8qZ-TRMDkjrdJ1xeeceuwU/edit?usp=drive_link).
The election will be brief, lasting no more than 30–60 minutes. We strongly encourage participation from PhD students and young researchers across all labs to ensure equal representation on the board. We hope to see many of you there to shape the future of ACDC together!

**Once the AGM starts, a motion to reduce the fee for joining ACDC during the AGM will be tabled. If it passes, then it will give an opportunity for everyone to participate.
